IC Card


  • You can ride not only Osaka Metro and Osaka City Bus (*) but also transportation systems within the PiTaPa service area, JR West (ICOCA area), and other nationwide mutual-use service areas by simply tapping your card on the ticket gates and validators.
    Moreover, various transfer systems and transfer discounts are automatically applied based on the order of your rides, making travel extremely convenient!

    *Osaka City Bus exclude buses bound for Universal Studios Japan™ and on-demand buses.
    ◆ IC cards other than PiTaPa must be charged in advance.

How to use

Hold your card horizontally and touch it to the reader on the automated ticket gate or the bus fare collection machine for approx. one second.

1-day pass “Enjoy Eco Card”



  • Tickets purchased from a vending machine have a different design.
  • Unlimited rides on all Osaka Metro (*1) and Osaka City Bus (*2) lines, plus special discounts at sightseeing spots in Osaka City on the day of use.

  • After use, a 1-day pass cannot be transferred to another person, or shared for use by multiple people.
  • Enjoy Eco Cards bought before the accessibility fee for train stations was introduced (April 1, 2023) can still be used without paying the difference.

Universal commuter pass


  • It can be used by individuals other than the registered holder. It's convenient to have one in your office or home.

    As of January 19, 2025, the “commuter pass for all lines” has been renamed the “universal commuter pass.” A commuter pass for all lines purchased before January 18, 2025 can still be used within the same valid area as the universal commuter pass for the duration of its validity.
