Transfers outside of the ticket gate for the three stations in Umeda (Umeda Sta., Higashi-Umeda Sta., and Nishi-Umeda Sta.)

Transfers at Umeda Sta., Higashi-Umeda Sta., and Nishi-Umeda Sta. (hereinafter called “the three stations in Umeda”) must be made within 30 min.
(excluding commuter passes and the Osaka 1-Day Pass - Enjoy Eco Card)
If the fare for your regular ticket or coupon ticket or the balance on your card is less than the fare between the boarding station and the three stations in Umeda, you cannot transfer unless you adjust the fare at one of those three stations.
When transferring partway during your journey along an alternative route, the fare may differ between the outward and return journey even if the route is the same.
Note that if you transfer after 30 minutes, transfer to another company's line or cancel your entry at the ticket gate, it will not count as a transfer at the three stations in UMEDA, you are required a separate fare as a new ride.
Also note that you cannot transfer to the same station.
