OSAKA PiTaPa Card Loss & Theft
We will promptly take measures to cancel your card and prevent misuse by third parties. Please also be sure to submit a loss (theft) report at the nearest police station.
We can re-issue your card if you wish.
〇 If you find your card after reporting it lost or stolen, please be sure to contact us.
〇 A processing fee will be charged for reissuing your card. It will be deducted from your designated account with a financial institution. Please note that in some instances we may not be able to comply with reissue requests. Thank you for your understanding.
〇 The reissue process takes approximately 1-2 weeks. PiTaPa discount services will not be applied during the reissue period even if you board using another ticket.

OSAKA PiTaPa Card Malfunction & Damage
〇 If the malfunction or damage is caused by you, a reissue processing fee will be required. It will be deducted from your designated account with a financial institution.
〇 The reissue process takes approximately 1-2 weeks. PiTaPa services will not be applied during the reissue period even if you board using another ticket.

If you wish to have your card reissued immediately, please inquire at one of the major public transport stations with PiTaPa services available.
You will be issued with an interim card that lets you use PiTaPa functions only.
〇If we issue an interim card, you will be required to pay a 500 yen charge (tax not included) in addition to the reissue processing fee for the proper card.
The proper card, with features such as credit card function, will be posted out at a later date. (The reissue process takes approximately 1-2 weeks.)
