Using Credit Cards

 For added convenience, we now accept credit cards as a means of paying commuter pass fares. Please see below for more information.

2 Applicable ticket types
Subway commuter passes (includes combined commuter passes with other companies), combined bus/subway commuter passes, bus commuter passes, Osaka Metro/City Bus all-line passes
 
3 Credit cards accepted
Image of the credit cards accepted: ts3 card, VISA card, MasterCard, JCB card, AMEX card, Diners Club card
 
4 Payment method
Single payment only
 
5 Please note
Credit cards must be used by the card holder under whose name it is registered.
(If the person is deemed to be someone other than the card holder, we will be unable to process the transaction.)
Credit cards without a signature in the field provided on the reverse of the card cannot be used.
(Please sign the card at that point in time.)
When using your card at the automated commuter pass vending machines (pink ticket machines), you will be prompted to enter your PIN.
 
Please keep the receipt from your purchase in a safe place for the duration of the validity of the commuter pass.
 
6 Refunds and other procedures for commuter passes purchased using a credit card
When requesting a refund, change, or other procedure, please be sure to bring the credit card with which you purchased the pass.
