Subway/New Tram


Regular fares



*Please refer to the “Subway Fare Section Table”(PDF) for the number of sections between stations.

*Sections are determined by the distance between the departure and arrival stations (shortest route).
*( ) indicates the accessibility fee for train stations included in the fare (in yen).



Commuter fares


●Osaka Metro-only commuter passes (standard/student) are issued as IC cards (ICOCA) or magnetic passes.
●Interline commuter passes (standard/student) are issued only as IC cards (ICOCA).
●When purchasing a commuter pass with an IC card (ICOCA), you must pay both the commuter pass fare and a deposit* (500yen).
*A deposit is required for card issuance. It will be refunded upon return of the card.
● If you already have an ICOCA, no deposit is required; you can load a commuter pass onto your existing ICOCA.

Please note that the number of sections for regular fares may differ from that for commuter pass fares depending on the route (click here for details), and some routes may not be eligible for commuter passes.

Standard commuter pass

*Even for the same travel section, fares may vary depending on the specified route.

*Commuter passes are sold from 14 days prior to the date of use.



Group fare *For groups of 25 or more

Student group

Example: Group fare for 28 junior high school students and three teachers traveling across two sections


·Fare for junior high school students 192yen× 28students= 5,376yen

(Fractions of less than 10 yen per group are rounded to the nearest 10 yen.)

Group tickets can be reserved in advance through the “Group Ticket Web Reservation Service.” Fares for group tickets can also be calculated using the fare simulator.

Bus/Subway Connection


Regular fares (applicable when connecting with a number of cards)
*The Coupon Card was discontinued as of March 22, 2024. (The Special Discount Coupon Card is still available for purchase.) Please refer here for usage details and other information.



●When you transfer between subways and buses, you will automatically receive 100yen discount. (Children receive a 50yen discount.)

*By using the Special Discount Coupon Card, you will automatically receive 50yen discount. (Adults only)

【Handling of the Discount Transport Pass for the Elderly(Senior Pass)】
●When you transfer between subways and buses by using the Discount Transport Pass for the Elderly(Senior Pass)issued by Osaka City, Regular fares will automatically be 50yen.

【Handling of the Special Discount IC Card】
●When you transfer between subways and buses by using the Special Discount IC Card issued by Surutto KANSAI Co., Ltd, you will automatically receive 50yen discount .(Adults only)


Commuter fares


●For bus/subway interline commuter passes, those covering distances of “less than 2 km” are issued only as magnetic passes, while passes for “all routes” are issued only as IC cards (ICOCA).

● When purchasing a commuter pass with an IC card (ICOCA), you must pay both the commuter pass fare and a deposit* (500yen).
*A deposit is required for card issuance. It will be refunded upon return of the card.

● If you already have an ICOCA, no deposit is required; you can load a commuter pass onto your existing ICOCA.
