*You are responsible for the public transport costs incurred in visiting the Lost & Found Center.
Note 1: The Lost & Found Center holds lost and found items that have been handed in at a subway station, etc. (Lost items handed in onboard an Osaka City Bus, etc. are held at Osaka City Bus business offices.)
Note 2: The Lost & Found Center holds items for about three days from 4:00 pm on the third day after the day the item was handed in at a subway station, etc.
The period that items are held at the Lost & Found Center may vary according to weather and traffic conditions.
(The period that an item is held varies according to the day of the week on which it was handed in.)
*Be sure to bring proof of your identity (official document proving name and address) (We may refuse to return a lost and found item if you do not bring some proof of your identity.)

Phone Calls
Note 1: You are responsible for the cost of any phone calls received by Osaka City.

Note 2: Charges are not incurred for guidance during your call or outside business hours.

Note: Inquiries about lost and found items are received at Station Master's Offices, not at station gates, platforms, or onboard trains.

Subway and New Tram
The same day as or the day after (the day that an item was handed in at a subway station, etc.)
Lost and found items are held at the Station Master's Office where the item was handed in.
Held for about three days from 4:00 pm on the third day after (the day that an item was handed in at a subway station, etc.)
Items are collected from the Station Master's Office, etc. and held at the Lost & Found Center.

How long and where lost and found items are held
The same day as or the day after the day

Lost and found items that were handed in onboard a train or in a station building are held at the Station Master's Office where the item was handed in.
