Note1: Items found on Osaka City Buses, are held at Osaka City Bus business offices
Note2: When you contact us, please give as much detail as possible including information about the train you took, your boarding routes, and the distinguishing features of your lost item.
Note3: We will record your call to ensure we have received your inquiry correctly.
Note4: The line may be busy and it may be difficult to get through depending on the time of your call.



How long and where lost and found items are held
The same day that an item has been handed in at a subway station, etc. The Station Master's Office where the item was handed in.
Lost and found items that were handed in onboard a train or in a station building are held at the Station Master's Office where the item was handed in.

After the holding period Nishi Police Station
Lost and found items are reported to Osaka Nishi Police Station.


Note1: Inquiries about lost and found items are not received at station gates, platforms, or onboard trains.
Note2: Umbrellas will be held at the Lost & Found Center for two weeks and then disposed of.

Note1: You are responsible for the public transport costs incurred in visiting the Lost & Found Center.
Note2: The Lost & Found Center holds lost and found items that have been handed in at a subway station, etc. Lost items handed in onboard an Osaka City Bus, etc. are held at Osaka City Bus business offices.
Note3: The Lost & Found Center holds items for about 4 days from the next day that the item has been handed in at a subway station, etc. The period that the item is held there may vary according to weather and traffic conditions. The period that the item is held there may vary according to the day of the week on which it is handed in.
Note4: Be sure to bring proof of your identity(official document proving name and address). We may refuse to return a lost and found item if you do not bring some proof of your identity.
