Osaka Metro concierge staff are being placed in stations to enhance service.
The service managers (special guidance staff) currently placed in major stations will become station concierges effective Apr. 1, 2019 (Mon.) to provide detailed, easy-to-understand information to all passengers, including visitors from overseas.
Furthermore, the number of station concierge staff will be successively increased, and non-Japanese and female staff will be actively hired to improve service based on the perspectives of foreigners and women.

Shin-Osaka Sta., Umeda Sta., Higashi-Umeda Sta., Shinsaibashi Sta., Namba Sta., Nippombashi Sta., and Tennoji Sta.

3 Information service content
Information on various tickets, information on destinations/transfers, tourist information, etc.
(Various types of tickets are sold, exchanged, etc. at the Information Counter.)
4 Concierge staff
As of Mar. 2019, there are 27 service managers placed in 7 stations, and concierge staff will be successively increased from Apr. 2019 onward. The employment of non-Japanese and female staff will be actively promoted with the plan to place staff of approximately 80 in 11 stations within FY2021.
5 New uniforms
A refined design that gives passengers a sense of safety and familiarity is used against a warm monotone of dark yellow for the base color.
